Service of the wine
Our wines should be served at a temperature between 14 and 16°C throuh the beginning of spring till the end of fall. 18°C is prefereable during the winter season. Open the bottle in advance, smell and taste the wine to check it isn't corked. If it isn't you can decanter it. Decanting is not reserved exclusively to vintage wines it's also beneficial to young wines. The aeration it provides accelerates the ageing process. It softens the tannins and acidity of young wines making them rounder and smoother.
Food and wine
Red wines from Touraine go very well with white meat such as veal or pork, poultry, and grilled red meat. The "rosés" suit cold meats, mixed salads, antipasti and typical pork delicatessen from Touraine. White wines should be served with fish or one of the various goat cheeses from the region.
